We have listed many common problems here on our web site for you to refer to, as well as over the counter medications that are safe for you to take.

For Emergencies, you may call the office or go directly to the Maternal Emergency Care Center.  It is located on the 4^th floor of the Maternal Child Center on the campus of St. Vincent’s Birmingham.

Calls to the office after hours and on weekends will be answered by the answering service.  If it is an emergency, the answering service will page the doctor on call.  The answering service cannot answer your questions. 

Remember that the doctors do not have access to your chart and cannot honor requests for prescription refills or call in pain medications.  Any after hour calls need to be a true medical emergency.
